The Government’s attack on farmers and ranchers is increasing in every aspect. Let’s take a look at the way this is being done. Reintroducing wolves into mainly cattle grazing areas. Government forest lands are not being managed. Dead fallen trees are left like piles of match sticks, with overgrowth of brush so thick that the wildlife have to try to dig through to find something to eat. But all this unmanned mess is nothing but tons of fuel per acre, providing the perfect opportunity for wildfire
to destroy agriculture and grazing land.

The continued increase of saddling ranchers and farmers with more and more regulations, laws, and taxes. Then you have the never-ending attack to take out the dams that are vital for agriculture to survive. Using the salmon as an excuse to remove the dams which there is no evidence that will increase the salmon runs. The ancient trails in the river beds that the salmon used to use to find their way upstream are not there anymore. They now depend on the fish ladders and salmon cannons that shoot them over the dams. It takes hundreds of years for the salmon migration trails to be made by the spawning salmon so in the meantime the loss of salmon migration could be so devastating we would never recover.
Another factor we have to look at is what has happened to the cattle industry in recent times. We have seen the rancher receiving 60 cents a pound and the packer getting 40 cents a pound and now the rancher is getting 40 cents a pound and the packers are getting 60 cents a pound, all while the price of what is needed to produce is increasing every day; fuel, feed, irrigation, and cost of new regulations on certifying USDA approved marketing practices.
Basically what we have is the United Nations and the World Economic Forum, declaring war on our farmers and ranchers. Using every excuse that resonates with the gullible such as we have to eliminate beef production due to climate change. Another is protecting the environment from animal waste. If you are stupid enough to fall for this rhetoric then you have been sufficiently brainwashed because this is a ploy to destroy independent producers and centralize control of all agriculture, land, and energy—and ultimately total political control and economic power over them.
As prime farmland is being taken out of production this is exactly the way the communists work using the government to continually make it impossible for farms and ranches, which have been handed down for 100”s of years in some cases, to be productive enough to provide a living.
All this is making America more reliant now having to import more and more food. We are depending on foreign producers to fill the gap that has been created by our own government. Making the US vulnerable and depending on the global chain supply.
What is the answer? It is up to the American people to let the local farmers and ranchers know we will support them and want them to keep doing what they do best. It is time for the people to send letters, emails, and phone calls to Congress and tell them to start getting serious about protecting our agriculture. Farmers and ranchers are America’s lifeblood. We depend on them for our food and our economy. Everything that goes into producing food has employment connected to it. Building tractors, trucks, irrigation, and every piece of equipment means a job. There are many different kinds of professions and careers from salespeople to repair people. There are thousands of jobs that are provided by agriculture. For the most part, our very existence depends on agriculture. America was built around farming and ranching to become the greatest nation on earth. Let’s stand together or we will fall apart.
